Michael T Pagliarulo, "Pags", Former Major League Baseball Player

Mr. Pagliarulo, a former Major League Baseball currently heads several firms focused on national and international sports consultancy: Sports Embassy Inc., the International Scouts, iScouts Inc, the Baseline Group. He has also established the Baseball Institute of Development a 501(c3) working with the American College of Sports Medicine and other non-profit organizations. He has designed sports alumni programs that translate the lived experience of world-class athletes to a comprehensible language for clinical research.

He began his carrier as a Major League Baseball third baseman when he was drafted by the New York Yankees and would spend just over five years with the Yankees before going to the San Diego Padres in 1989. After a year and a half in San Diego, he moved back to the American League when he joined the Minnesota Twins just before the start of the 1991 season. It was with Minnesota that Mr. Pagliarulo won a World Series championship as the starting third baseman. He also played for the Baltimore Orioles and finished his career with the Texas Rangers, before retiring after the 1995 season.
