"The care packages were well-received and believe me when I say it is most inspiring to observe a Soldier, when he or she, receives a care package. The immediate awareness that someone out there is motivated and passionate enough to take the time out of their day to select and package these items with such care brings instant smiles and a very real since of pride. There are times such as these in which I am reminded that our separation and our sacrifices are not ours alone but rather shared. Our commitments to the values of freedom will never waver and as this bedrock of our nation is challenged around the world, it will always be the continued support and patriotism or our communities that will make the difference in Victory."
